FAQ

Why should I consider wearing a mask?

The purpose of a face mask is to provide a physical barrier to help slow down the spread of infections. Mask wearing is recommended alongside other preventative measures like frequent hand washing, and social distancing, in order to significantly reduce the risk of person to person transmission.

When should I wear a mask?

The CDC ( Centres for Disease Control Prevention) recommends that people wear a face covering in public settings when around people outside their household and when social distancing measures are difficult to maintain.

Will my mask stop me from catching Covid 19?

Masks should be used as part of a comprehensive strategy of measures to suppress transmission and save lives; the use of a mask alone is not sufficient to provide an adequate level of protection against COVID-19. Masks and face covering can help us protect each other and contribute to reducing transmission of the disease.

How do I use my new mask?

1. We recommend you wash the mask when you first receive it.

2. Insert a filter into the filter pocket of your mask with clean hands.

3. Hold your mask by the ear loops, place a loop around each ear, ensuring your mask covers your nose and mouth, and comfortably sits under the chin.

4. Adjust the toggle on your ear straps until the mask sits comfortably on your face while still allowing you to breathe without restriction.

5. Avoid touching the mask while wearing it.

6. Taking your mask on and off should only be done by un-looping the straps from behind your ears.

7. After removal of a used mask, wash your hands thoroughly.

8. Remove the filter before washing your mask. Machine wash at 40 with your normal mixed colour wash. Make sure it us completely air dry before next use.

Advise to store your worn masks in an airtight bag or container until washing.

Is it mandatory to use a filter?

It's not mandatory, but using a filter will provide extra protection against air contaminants.

Tell me more about the PM2.5 filter ?

The PM2.5 filters are shown to be effective in blocking the majority of airborne particulates such as dust, pollution, pollen, and smog. The PM2.5 name comes from these filters original use as protection against Particulate Matter 2.5 (PM2.5) which is the smallest form of air pollution.

You can use a single filter continuously for 16-24 hours, or 1-2 weeks of occasional use.

Can I use my own filters with this mask?

Yes you can as long as the filter fits into the compartment of the mask. The filtration capability will depend on the specification of your own filter.

If I'm not happy with my mask, can I return it?

For hygiene reasons we are unable to accept returns or issue refunds for our face masks. If there is a defect with the mask on receipt, please get in touch straight away.

Is this mask one size fits all?

One size fits most adults. The adjustable ear straps allow the mask to fit snugly to your face.

Can my child use this mask?

The official guidance from the government in the UK explains that if your child is under the age or 2, cannot put one on themselves, or has respiratory condition, they don't need to wear a face covering. All other children can wear one, but for those under the age of 11, it is not mandatory for them to wear a face covering on public transport. Our mask may fit some older children, but we are developing a smaller size for younger children. Please follow us on Facebook to find out more.

Can I buy your masks in bulk or own designs?

We are open to discussing a wholesale option for orders , please Get In Touch if you are interested.

We also offer a service from Design to manufacture and supply own designs for corperate or promotional use.

I want to know more about where you manufacture.

We have both been fortunate to work for brands in the past who always viewed their manufacturers as partners, some who have also become friends. We are using a supplier in Istanbul who we know very well, and have visited many times. As with many factories around the world they have been badly affected by the economic affects of Covid-19 and so because of our long standing relationship we wanted to do something to support them by up cycling some of their leftover base fabric with some customised prints.

What is your delivery timescale?

We aim to dispatch within 1-3 working days of your order being placed.

Where do you ship to?

We can ship within the UK and Europe and Worldwide.
